Yes, yes I will.

Been watching the Otakon forums lately too. Ready for them to announce when the artist tables, and I'm hoping they don't open up while I'm gone.

Gonna have so much fun while I'm gone. See you all later!

Nasty storms, bad news morning, and Otakon/AWA..

So, I'm sure those that read my journal are aware that Celesse and I managed to land a table at Otakon in August. The kind soul that offered to share her table with us is Egyptianruin, she also makes really cute keychains!
I just reserved a hotel tonight (after finding out that apparently there will be a baseball game at the same time of Otakon) and got my pre-registration.

Also, we received confirmation on our own table of Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) in September! So I pre-registered for that. Now just gotta get all the material together.. @__@

Aside from that, three tornadoes touched down in my area! @______@ It was lovely watching the huuuuuge black clouds roll there way in at work. I think I spotted a small funnel that fizzled out a ways off to the left of me...that's when I called my younger brother at the house to make sure he was keeping his eyes out for it (he was painting my walls..), but everything was okay there. The rain was nice though, and yes. I'm okay. :)

With that weather scare, coming home and then Dadoo coming home a few hours later. He gave us the news. Grandma peacefully passed away this morning. Everyone down there was there for her. Mum's holding up okay, Grandpa too.
I thought I would start crying when Dadoo told us, but..I didn't...I'm really surprised... maybe it just hasn't sunked in yet. I'll probably call in to ask to stay home tomorrow, that way it gives myself a day to let it really sink it.. and so I'm out of tears the following day to actually work. sigh.

Time to work on Strays and art. Gotta keep my mind moving.

The Good: My website has been updated.

The Bad:
Well, it was a great day until nighttime came..

Got a call from Uncle Donnie in GA about Grandma. Mum said she's back in the hospital with breathing problems again.
After all the tests they did, they found she had the starting phases of pneumonia. Fsckin' sucks... they have her on a ventilator and on treatment for it hoping they caught it earlier enough. It worries me though, since this was something everyone was hoping she wouldn't catch 'cause it would be bad in a sense she wouldn't recover..

Sigh, this all just ruined my motivation for the night. Now I'm just....blah..

Let's see how long I can stare at this wall until I can burn a hole in it..

So I'm home after spending almost a week down in Georgia visiting my Grandparents. We didn't do much other they watch tv or play Continental Rummy (a card game, very fun!). I cooked for them a few nights and practically had to force my grandpa to let me clean the kitchen since I made the mess. Though, it kinda sucked at the same time 'cause I got so down watching grandma... her health isn't all that great and we all nearly paniced Sunday night when she didn't have anymore Proair inhalers... luckily were abler to get some quick from a different pharmacy.
I'm glad my brother and I visiting really cheered her up and I wish I could've stayed longer, but I just couldn't stand to watching her day after day like that. I feel bad for Grandpa having to though... I had a real tough time sleeping, being out of my element and not having my dog and cats to sleep with at night.

But I'm home now.

Wednesday night was Lunar Eclipse, and WOW I say, it was gorgeous! I'm so glad I managed to get pictures!! :DDD ...which I will edit and share later. the good ones, anyhow.

Picked up Final Fantasy XII: Revelant Wings while I was down there too. I'm really enjoying it, which surprised me. I didn't think I would.

Annnnnd, now that I'm back, I need to set an appointment for my 10k mile service on my car. Then get back to work on Strays.

The only other thing I have to share is ...my horrible writing skills!!

I can say Happy New Year! And I have nothing more than to report the latest movies I've seen.

Which I will hide behind the following cut for those who have not seen them.

Alvin and the Chipmunks
This movie was extremely cute, it played well, and amazing how they matched the voices to the old series voices. I think the only thing that bothered me throughout the movie was Jason Lee's flat voice acting. There was not shifting pitch in his voice that reacted to certain situations...it was just...flat. The MUSIC is oh-so-friggin' catchy too! I was singing two or three of the songs for the following days and I had to go find them.
I can definitely recommend this one.

The Golden Compass
Very interesting. It kind of started out slow, then suddenly jump to the top of the suspense mark and hit the climax. The actors/actress that are fairly new aren't too bad, and they did a very lovely job with the FXs. Mum got confused about the daemons, so I explained to her what it said in the beginning, so I guess she forgot or didn't catch it. The sudden ending was a great disappointment though, it just seems so TOTALLY cut out, so it's bound to have a sequel or two.
Although, not as enjoyable for me as Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Alien Vs Predator - Requiem
I am SO glad it wasn't my money that bought tickets for this. My brother wanted to see it, so I tagged along. Talk about plotlessness. All you do is follow this ONE predator around and remarkably kills ever alien it comes across. It's so shameful how stupid they make the aliens seem and ridiculous how they make the aliens follow the predalien, when it's a cross breed and hideously ugly. It also seemed dumb that a single predator went to Earth instead of a group to manage what happened.
They went a little too far in showing a kid get facehugged and pregnant women burst open a bunch of baby aliens that were implanted by the predalien HYBRID...that...breeding made absolutely no sense. "Predalien, go make babies with a hume! :D" "...>:D *goes to do so*" "OMGAWD, they...look nothing like you, you mutt..." STUPIIID
Lessee...oh gawd, how stupid can people be too. The army lady gave you FAIR WARNING that you shouldn't go to the center of an infestation...what's that secretly mean...Oh, DUH, NUKE site! When the guy said there was evac at the center, it immediately sprung in my head...that's man's answer to almost everything nowadays.
Don't waste your money, wait for it to hit TV.

The Water Horse
What an absolutely adorable twist on the Loch Ness theory. Crusoe (water horse) was such a cutey and I awed and squeed as ever friggin' sound he made. Mum kept asking if she could put one in my pond and I kept telling her no. XD The main character, Angus, was shockingly well. I think the kid did an excellent job.
The effects were awesome. Though, there were a few things that were stretched to be impossible (for instance, Angus riding on Crusoe and Crusoe diving to the bottom of the loch to show Angus his new home. Diving so fast and deep like that is not possible, your ears will burst. and coming back to the surface too fast can cause the bends and the chance of killing you if not put in a decompression chamber), but I guess we like to think that Angus was protected by the magic of Crusoe, such a possibility that he had it.
Definitely recommend this movie too. I would so go see it again on the big screen.

National Treasure
Filled with as much hilarity as the first and just as enjoyable. I loved how the sequences fell in place and how the clues were brought to the viewers attention. The riddles really made me think of what the answers could be and I totally got into the movie and wanted to follow along as if I was there in person. I don't think I suffered a moment of "......" throughout the entire thing. It totally kept my attention. I think the only thing that seemed to trail off was the whole proving part of the Gates forfather being an innocent man. It kinda went off from that onto a treasure hunt, but in the end, it proved that the cipher Thomas Gates was decoding was in fact a clue to a treasure.
I still thoroughly love it.

I am Legend
Very...interesting. Had similarity to a city devoid of hume life and filled with daylight-hating zombies, but the way their portrayed it was neat. It went through Smith's character's daily life of surviving with his german shephard partner, Sam. His character was rather dedicated to finding a cure for the man-made virus that caused cancer patients to turn into berserkers, no matter how frustrated he got.
It seems rather slow in the beginning, but nearly halfway through it starts to pick up and turn really interesting. You notice a certain infected man becomes smarter and actually sets a trap (or I believe he did) and this in turn causes Smith's character to being forced to put Sam down after she was bit. ;^; And there's where it really turns, he loses it and pretty much goes kamikaze, but is saved by a survivor and her child, both immuned. 'Course he doesn't take it well until they're running for their lives. It's at the end when they get ready to escape that his character realises he found the cure in the blood of an infected person he caught earlier in the movie. Passing it off to his friend, he makes a final stand against the coming infected while she escapes with her kid. And thus he became a legend, as the woman tells at the end.
Very good.

Time to get back to working on a page for Strays.

Woo, has it been crazy, especially with this WHACKY weather. It's winter, dammit, stay cold!

Well, anyway. Work is great and I'm thoroughly enjoying it and all it's easiness! Minus the customers that come in and piss you off, it's wonderful. I've met several artists already that are frequent customers, and even some that are anime/manga fans. And also pretty cool that I've met several people that went to Nekocon X, even one of the Cosplay guest announcers; she was Zelda/Link on the stage.

Had a wonderful Christmas and got several things I wanted. A new daylight lamp for my desk when I work on traditional media, a new awesome portfolio, a large and soft plush horsie and goofy horse hat from Celesse~, and a box of money! :D Then my partial gift was my new BJD, Supiadoll Roda. She's aboslutely gorgeous! And currently bare naked with no makeup.... I am in awe of her beautiful hands too.

And in other news, Strays is doing extremely well!
Ahh, what an awesome roadtrip we had~ Drove the the tail of the Apps and Blueridge mountains; gawd I love it through there! Such mountain-y smells and rivers that ring so beautfully. <3

Ah, but on with the typing. We hung out at Celesse's house for a few days, we played some video games, one of which was Wii Tennis and gawd I could not get the hang of that one. For some reason I was epic failing here and there, but the funny thing is, I play a lot better on a real court...just weird. Micheal finally got to watch all the episodes of Firefly. And several times we were trampled by one or two or her dogs.
On Thursday, we left for an awesome apartment-like hotel that was just down the road from Cumberland Mall in Atlanta. It was awesome, clean and we're definitely looking forward to staying there for AWA XIV (Anime Weekend Atlanta) next year~
Celesse enjoyed her first convention <3 I'm so happy she did, since I enjoyed it too. The BJD panel was fun too!
For those that were there, here's what I looked like XD
There were so many awesome cosplayers (even though I got sick of seeing the same characters over and over and over.... Mainly Bleach and Naruto, both of which I've lost interest in..).
The only thing I was sad about through the whole thing is they didn't have a RPG Cosplay where groups of people do skits on stage. Nekocon IX had that and it was so hilarious XD I guess I'll have that to look forward to this November!
We got to meet Bara-chan in person! Oh and Matt Page! He was cute. :3 I missed out on meeting Nyanko-chan, 'cause I never caught her at her table. Oh well, hopefully I'll have a chance to say hello at Nekocon X.
All in all, we had fun~ I didn't spend much, just bought and had some hi-chew for the first time (YUM!) and bought an adorable dress for Chloe

Chloe is on the left, Fern is on the right and she belongs to Celesse (Both are Bambicrony Elf Gun).

And one night while at the hotel, I did a sketch and coloured it with our Copics.

It's Kiev! First time doing markers only too, I just need to get some better paper since print paper is not the best for it.

Afterwards, we swung by for a quick 'happy anniversary' visit at my grandparents house in Macon. We left after two hours and headed back to Cel's.
Then Micheal and I left the second half of the next day to drive home. No problems on the road, at all. ...well, aside from me cussing loudly at the idiots who thought they could squeeze between the front of my car and the rear of the car in front of them in the lane beside me... rawr, assholes..

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Nekocon X now! And future plans of sharing a table with Cel at Katsucon is up in the air. Gotta get stuff together.

Slainte!

Wow, new job was fun. Working out an art store=artstuffs dicounted! On stuff that's already lower than normal retail! Sweet. Co-workers are great and easy to get along with.
The only thing that will take me a little time to thoroughly learn in the register. Darn thing is set up like a mail order system... And omgosh, full-time hours, how I haven't seen you for over a year! My sleeping schedule is still whacked.

Aside from fun new job, sad news follows in the pet world. Sigh.
Shivers (mum's cat) hasn't been feeling well for a week. He stopped eating real food last Tuesday, but he would lick up gravy from wet food, since that was the only thing we could get him to eat, and stopped drinking water. He didn't have a temperature, either. We were given an antibiotic that did nothing but tear up his stomach more and that made him stop eating completely. Then we were given lysine for it, and that was a waste since he wasn't eating. So, finally, Mum took him back in and got another blood test, still nothing. Then they took him in the back for an IV to hydrate him and did an Xray. LOW AND BEHOLD.......he somehow ate a soda can top....WTF?! Gawd, it sent mum into a flurry of worry! So now, he's going in tomorrow for an endoscopy and hopefully be able to pull out the top up his esophagus. If they can't do that, it'll be about $2500 for surgery...SIGH. We're hoping they can do the endoscopy.
We'll find out tomorrow.

Work time.

A big red blob on the radar.
When it was on approach, you would think we're stupid cause we usually stand on the porch to watch it come in. :D It was soooo beautiful~...then the rain dumped and lightning picked up within miles of us, so we had to go in.
The center went right over us and produced some powerful cloud-to-ground lightning, very loud strikes and one even struck a tree down the street from us. That poor pine tree was stripped naked on one side and charred black around it. Glad the people that lived there were okay though.
In the middle of the storm, we started getting pea-sized hail that got as big as marbles in a matter of minutes. Not soon after, there was a reported funnel cloud within a mile of us! >_<; I guess it didn't make a touchdown since there was no report of that, just several reports of lightning strikes. I'm surprised the loud cracks didn't make my car alarm go off like they do to many cars around here. The cracks were loud and strong enough to feel the floor vibrate.
Poor Ishikai was so terrified of the storm he wanted to be held...and clung to my neck as soon as he was in my arms.

Very thrilling...

Haven't slept well lately so that booted my concentration on stuff out the door. Having the shittiest luck looking for a new job... sigh..

I think the brightest of this post is the newest kitten, and very last addition, of our cat bridgade.
Her mum, Quasi, was born with one eye, but she was born with no eyes. She's healthy otherwise, though. At first we were thinking her eyes were gonna open late, but being a week after the normal it was realised she doesn't have eyeballs. She has the empty sockets and her eyelids are sealed except for the tear duct that still works. She has great hearing and sense of smell for a kitten so young, too.
She's been called several names. Mojo, MeGo, Squint, Scoot, Shorty.... I think we all settle on Tu, after we got a card from the clinic listing some of the cats that needed boosters. ("name! and name, name, name, name, too!") But we had to give it a unique spelling. XD

Dadoo didn't like the idea of yet another cat, but with her being blind, we think it would be hard to find her the right home where an owner would properly look after her. So, we're keeping her and taking care of her will be so much fun. Gotta get her a bell collar though.... I can see her attaching to someone fast. Hell, she loves sitting in my lap.
Personally, I'd rather have an old model muscle car, they're more appealing to me (and better built).

Stopped by Best Buy today and Dadoo showed me to the Apple display table they had out with the iMac and lapbooks (I call them this because there's laptop, macbook, notebook, blahblahblah) they started carrying. I was amazed at the iMac and loved it! the graphics are just gorgeous *0* Dadoo's been saying I should look into a Mac for art stuff only and keep my main PC for everything else. I liked the mouse though. :D Wasn't too crazy about the keyboard (flat), since I'm used to natural(arched) keyboards.
We also glanced at the lapbooks, but gawd..for the price of those I could get a 20" iMac. Besides, I have my Toshiba tablet PC I could cart around if I needed to, so I don't need another lapbook.

Now to work.

Good GAWD is it hot outside X___X;; These heat waves really are kicking the east coast hard. Not even the little bit of rain stopping by is helping..it just makes it all icky outside. I need to clean my pond, but it's just too hot! Even though it involves water, the pond water is actually warm too... then the mosquitoes...ugh...

Movies:
Transformers: Michael and I went to see it the day it came out after asking if it was sold out, but it wasn't even that busy either *shock* We originally went to see Ratatouille. It was awesome. Despite never watching what was before Beast Wars, I thoroughly enjoyed it and am willing to go see it again on the big screen, since mum is actually interested in seeing it in theater too.

The Last Mimzy: It was okay, but GAWD did that high pitch noise give me a headache... Yeah, it made it extra weird, but it hurt my ears. The kids seriously needed some acting classes too... but I liked the story.

I still need to watch Ratatouille, The Shooter, Breach, and I still wanna watch The Messengers.

Well, it's gonna be hot again tomorrow, so I guess I'll spend half my day cleaning my inside fish tanks, then get back to arts.

Guess I'll shove this in here:

I'll be out of town for a few days, my brother and I are leaving this Friday to join our parents and grandparents over in Cherokee, NC. It'll be the first time in four years that all four of us will be together to see my grandparents,; a lot of the times three of us were either working and unable to get the time off or in school.

This will be a test of our sibling love for each other since it will be us two on the road for nearly 9 hours. And it'll be my first time driving long distance without Mum there.. ohhh the nervousness will set in after we pass Asheville, though... I was hoping to go through Maggie Valley but Michael will throw up all over my car with the road being so twisty-turner. Ah well.

Oh and I'll be old enough to play on the Casino floor this time!! (Wasn't able to six years ago...) Maybe I'll bring home some extra money in my pocket.

So yes, and I do hope to get something art-wise done. I'll be taking my laptop and sketch book. Maybe I'll have some decent sketches to post to Squikoodles too..

Slainte!

I'm glad I can finally kick you out the door. You've brought me nothing but stress and pain this year and boo to see you sticking that bad luck out for the beginning of next year...

January to July:
At the beginning of 2006, it starting going downhill when I was slowly unable to work in my position of a fish department employee at Animal Jungle when my hands started to have a back reaction to the constant contact with the aquarium water. The got so bad, I finally got put in the stock department, which was fun for a while. But that position only lasted a month and was finally resigned because I was getting no where with no raise promised for another year.

February really hit hard when my cousin's father died on Valentine's day. And so to say, she'll never like that date again and hopefully any boyfriend she picks up better understand. I just wish my family was able to adopt her from her current crappy life, going unnoticed while living with her mother, step dad, and half sister.

March to June:
I became a legal adult in May! Yay!

July to September:
Car sales was just not for me, even though it made up for two months of training pay (of which helped so much with my Tobias' surgery).
Parents got a good deal with the mortgage company and payed a lot of things off. With the money they got out of it, they bought my 2006 Chevy Cobalt in lovely burnt orange *heart* and Dadoo was finally able to get his Harley motorcycle again (His long time "You deserve it!" present).
Tobias, my cat, had developed a lump of cancer in his mouth. I was stressed so badly I had an extremely difficult time focusing on much until it came time to putting money together for his surgery. I thanked all those who helped with it and taking a small batch of chibi commissions helped too. He's now healthy and I'm happy for that.
Lost someone, who I considered to be a close friend, in this time frame.
Celesse also came down around the end of this time frame, since we weren't going to be able to get to Disney World this year. It was so nice to see my lovey after such stressful times. I soooo did not want her to go and wanted to make her miss her plane! But then, I'm sure her mother would've came flying at me with her motherly super powers and I didn't want to make her mad. ;^; I look forward to see Cel' again. *heartheart*

November to current:
Went to my first anime convention, NekoCon 9. I had so much fun and I'm looking forward to going again next year!
And now I'm with the small Disney store in one of the malls, but not looking as promising now that the holidays are over. I haven't had over 8 hours of work for two weeks now.. not quiting yet. So, I'm looking for yet another fucking job that's better.
Still struggling to get back on track with art.
Results came in that my Grandmother has cancer and still going downhill.

Welcome 2007!

So, I've been quiet this past week and haven't said anything about a family issue That we've been glooming over.

Seems my grandmother has been going to the hospital and x-rays show shadows on her pancreas and liver. The doctors want to put her on chemotherapy, yet they're not sure what the shadows are while grandpa wants to know first and not it be a waste if chemo isn't what she needs. There's no results from a biopsy yet and he's getting mad about that. I haven't seen either of them in two years, my family went down earlier this year during spring break in April while I begrungingly had to stay home and work since the fsckers wouldn't give me time off to visit family.

It was a last minute decision by Mum, she got three tickets for her, my brother and me to go down for a few days while Dadoo stay home to take care of the household since he couldn't get days off from both Navy and Besy Buy. I'll only be gone three days since I can't be gone over a weekend from my Disney Store job (that I got nearly two weeks ago) while Mum and Michael are there for a week. Three days is fine with me, as long as I get to see my grandparents.

If I hear one bitchy word from Aunt Kathy about us not spending time with her selfish self I'm soooo gonna tell her off (I hate her). I'll wanna see Elizabeth and take a gnader at their house, but that's it. I miss Elizabeth.

So, come this Wednesday, I will be MIA until Friday night. I won't have any net access (unless there's a none-passcoded wireless network out there~). There's a chance I'll come back with some doodles to stick up on Squikoodles since I haven't put any up for a long while now. But no promises.

Slainte.

Mum and I were trying to make up our minds to go see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the Hampton Coliseum OR The Prestige in theater. I've been wanting to go see the orchestra for a long while now, but I also wanted to see The Prestige... I think what deterred me most from going to see the orchestra was that Hampton Roads area was under a tornado watch and the winds were pretty nasty... And going across the long bridges to go through the tunnel to get to the coliseum is extremely scary. So we opted for The Prestige, which I thoroughly enjoyed! I loved the twists it had; just when I thought I'd figure it out, it surprised me when I was slightly wrong. Awesome movie. <3

Ahahaha, I saw on the news and they had a clip of our Best Buy up the road already having a line of 60 people waiting for the PS3......and the store will only have 34! 28 being the 60GB HDs and 6 being the 20 GB HDs... Hahahahaha!! It's just so...laughable.... Poor Dadoo will get to see how many are returned from this first batch if there are any flaws. I so want to grab my camera, get in my car in my PJs right now and go up just to take pictures of this silly event...but it's 6am at this moment and I am sleepy.

After reading many reviews on the PS3, I don't think I'll get it for the fact there won't be any games to my liking for like a year or two, maybe more...

This is where the Nintendo Wii comes in. I'd rather have it for the simple fact it looks to have an awesome new view at interactive gaming AND a new Zelda game! <3! So once the first batch of it goes out and Best Buy gets more (with Dadoo's early word when they have a stock of it in) I'll be fetching one for myself!

But until then, I have FFXII and Okami to enjoy and finish. Squee!

Again. 6AM and I won't wake 'til noon...I'm such a friggin' night owl! DX

I continuously tell him "I know, I keep tabs on them myself!" And oh do I want to get them both~ PS3 for the future upcoming Final Fantasy games and Wii for Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Final Fantasy XII is set to come out at the end of this month. YII!! Must..get...! Must have my FF obsession~~~ Ohh are the graphics gonna be sweet, though the battle system will definitely take some getting used to. I'll probably end up suffering insomnia 'cause I'll not want to stop playing unless I'm forced to stop... I was forced to turn my PS2 when I was playing Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus.... Vinny is teh love. *swoonheart*

Any locals heard of Nekocon happening at the Hampton colliseum next month? We're set to go the entire weekend, so I might post pictures afterwards.

Well, time to go make some notes for my story and some notes on creature physiology. <lj:music>Rascal Flatts - Life Is A Highway</lj:music>

Okay, so I've kept quiet long enough...

1. JOB/CAREER

For the past two weeks, I've been in training to become a professional car salesperson. Saturday was my first day, and of course I didn't get any sales. But right now, I'm establishing myself and familiarizing in the vehicles on our lot. It's a Chevrolet Dealership, and I must say I've grown quite fond of the Cobalt since I had to rent a car to commute to the training at that time. Now I'm shadowing another salesperson to be taught the ropes.

It's nice that we n00bs get paid every two weeks for the first three months of "training" plus bonuses for every vehicle we sell. Sweet deal.

The schedule is very committing; long hours watching for customers or studying when there are none/slow days. I know it's commission-based, but I'm still learning, so once I get my knowledge in about the pricey trucks (that's where the big money is anyhow in Chevrolet) I'll boast what I can on what I know.

It was nice too, that I made my first sale on Monday. And without Mac's help! He was off at the DMV... but of course when it came to the detail paperwork, I caught him just as he was coming inside, but I still finished the sale myself. <3 I sold a Cobalt SS Coupe in the gorgeous laser blue. The thing was damn sharp and made me want one all the more (even though it's a two-door). So I got a small commission on that.
My second sale was done today, and it was a Trailblazer. Sadly the Sales tower marked it so far down to this guy's payment range that Mac and I didn't get compensated for, but to cover it we get a bonus since it was the last sale of the day. BUT with two cars sold, I didn't get to the grab-bag bonus for either of them, so I'll get that tomorrow when I go in.

I'm enjoying it, the guys I work with are fun and we already joke around a lot. I talked to the manager that trained us, about getting days off for friends and family. Because he's real big on that, he said it would be a problem and all I would need to do is tell him a week or two in advance for when I would need them. Awesome.

2. AWESOMEMORTGAGEPAYOFFEVERYTHINGBLAHBLAHBLAHTHING

My parents have been working a deal with our mortgage company. They offered that they can pay all of our outstanding bills (the truck, a repo'ed van, credit card, etc.) and give us some money too. Well, they signed the paperwork to finalize it and will be getting checks and such to pay off those things along with our money. And that SERIOUSLY helps with fixing two of our cars, which have no A/C... and to put TOBIAS through the extensive surgery, granted it runs over $800.
Yes, his surgery has been post-poned since I don't have all the funds necessary for it. I'm still short, so once this is done and the money comes in, he's going it.

And that's it.

The past two days have been nothing but stress. I felt so hated by a few people already by night-time's arrival.

Yesterday, we took my cat, Tobias, to the vet to get him check on. He has a huge growth around a molar in the back of his mouth. The vet gave us a few possibilites of what it could be: some benign absess, a tumor and/or a type of cancer. This has been going on for about a week and a half, so he included that it might be a type of aggressive cancer. So I got his bloodwork and a tissue scraping done and sent out.

Today we heard back from the vet. My heart sank and made the stress even worse when I heard it was the aggressive type of cancer, feline Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Studies show that cats have less than 5% survival rate after surgery. We have X-rays scheduled to check if it spread any further from his jaw, but the chance is high since he's been losing weight and that's a sign too. And with what the x-rays show, will depend if he's gonna get surgery or not. If it has spread, there will be no point to surgery... I don't want to watch him suffer, so it'll be a choice whether or not to give him a few months/weeks at home until putting him to sleep.

But it all depends on the x-rays. Just the thought is making it hurt worse on me; my baby is sick and all I can do is make him comfortable.

*sigh*
